Realme P3 5G Impressions—Everything We Loved and One Thing We Hated

Realme P3 5g

The budget segment smartphone market is gaining solid momentum right at the start of this year. There are a number of bangers coming out and a lot of them are waiting in the lineup to outperform their competitors. With some similar mindset to outperform everyone in the budget range, Realme has launched its Realme P3, a smartphone that does everything right except one thing. Keep on reading and you will come to know.

Design and Box content

The design of this smartphone is for sure very sporty and rugged-looking. It is designed by the design team very carefully and its silver color sets the stage on fire. You can get it in grey and pink colors also (yes, pink—ladies?). Out of the box, the phone is Android 15 and comes with a charger in the box, a screen protector on phone and a case. So full marks to Realme for doing this.

Solid performance with a new chip

This is the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 5G chipset, which comes on a 4nm process. Realme P3 5G gives an AnTuTu score of around 750,000, which is really justified at the price point it comes. Users can even do some heavy gaming on this device until their primary target is not to record the gameplays.

Outstanding AMOLED Display

On this 6.6-inch 120 Hz screen and bright enough display, you are going to have a nice time watching content or playing games. The resolution is Full HD+ and RealMe claims it to be their Esports display, which itself is a title that explains its gorgeous display.

Don’t expect much from the camera

You are not going to get crazy 4K @ 60 FPS, of course, due to the price point it comes at. Still, you can record 4K videos at 30 FPS, which is itself not a bad deal. With that, you are also going to get a number of photography features just like you get in other expensive RealMe smartphones. From the front, you can shoot at 1080P@30FPS, which is not bad either.

The battery is big and charges fast

We are so much impressed by the fact that smartphones are making 6000 mAh a standard for batteries now. This phone comes with this capabity too and also it supports 45W fast charging, and the charger comes in the box.

The bad part—pricing and RAM variant mismatches

Everything is good about this phone except one thing—the RAM variant it starts at. For the price of INR 16,999, we are getting the 6 GB RAM variant, which is offered at the price point of INR 8,000 in some other brands. What will be the point of the phone if it does not have a nice RAM to let users enjoy its speed? The phone must be starting at the 8 GB RAM variant option and this is the only sole con in the Realme P3 5G.

Verdict of RealMe P3 5G

See, buy this phone only with the 8 GB variant. And, if you are able to get it under INR 15,000, then it’s a hell of a deal. After all, the phone is packed with everything and you can even jump with it into the water. 🙂
