What does the V50 offer in the camera department?
The smartphone has kept the megapixels of all their cameras uniform at 50 MP, which is quite a good move. The main camera has OIS, and you can record ultra-HD 4k videos from the front and back, which again strengthens the average consumer in the camera department.
In the Bokeh mode, Vivo is given exclusive 7 classic ZEISS style effects to make the shots more attractive. The video claims that their OIS main camera has DSLR-level image stabilisation due to their super sensitive and large sensor.
Interestingly, we also have a studio light option, which uses the flashlight (in a circular ring design) of the smartphone for taking shots even at night. With AI Image Studio, users can cut out, erase, and enhance the photos.

Durability and Battery in the Smartphone
Vivo has packed their new V50 with IP 68 and IP 69, something we got to explore with OnePlus 13 also. Not only this, there is a Diamond Shield Glass in the phone, which is created in collaboration with
Germany’s speciality glass manufacturer Schott after solid testing.
The phone comes with a solid and long 6000 mAh battery, which can give you nearly 21 hours of playback time. With 90 watts of fast charging, the smartphone charges quite fast.
Vivo has claimed that the battery will be highly functional and in the best state even after 4 years of heavy usage.
Power-packed performance with reliable software from Vivo V50
Now coming to the performance part, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which is a reliable and new processor. The 12 GB of RAM in the smartphone will keep everything buttery smooth for your day-to-day or even sometimes heavy tasks also.
However, don’t fall for the RAM expansion thing, as your main RAM stays 12 GB.
Fun Touch OS 15 further keeps things beautiful across the phone. Vivo promises to offer 3 major Android upgrades and provide up to 4 years of security updates.

The Display and Sound in Vivo V50
You get dual stereo speakers, which have become a standard when it comes to truly immersive sound. There are no major complaints in the audio department.
Further, the display is 120 Hz with a balanced brightness irrespective of the huge numbers mentioned by Vivo. The screen size is 6.7 inches and supports HDR 10+ which again is a standard in this segment smartphones.
What about the Artificial Intelligence part in the phone?
Well, just like other brands, now Vivo is also pushing itself in the race of AI. You get:
- Google Gemini (from Android)
- Vivo’s live call translation
- Circle to search
- AI screen translation
We are yet to see some groundbreaking features from Vivo.
